Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

EURE Tap is a digital business card service run by Eurekion ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you make a card, when someone visits a card, and when someone sends their info to a card owner. We wrote it in plain English on purpose.

2. What we collect

When you make a card:

• Your name, title, and business name
• Phone number and email address
• Photo or logo, if you add one
• Website, booking link, social links, and any other card content you add
• Your card style
• Your agreement to get business growth tips, tools and offers by email, and when you gave it

When people use your card: how many times it was viewed and how many times the QR code was scanned. These are counts, not profiles of visitors.

Ad and referral tags: if you arrived from an ad or link, we save the campaign tags in that link (such as utm_source and utm_campaign), the referring page, and the page you landed on, so we know which ads work.

Technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider handles basic request data such as IP address, browser type, and time of visit to deliver pages and stop abuse.

3. Info from visitors who contact a card owner

A card can include a form called "Share your info". If you fill it out on someone's card, your name, phone or email, and note are sent to that card owner. They can see it in their private leads list. Eurekion stores it for them so the card works.

If you give a phone number, it is only used so the card owner can contact you. We do not send marketing texts, and we do not add you to our own marketing.

The card owner decides how to follow up with you. If you want your info removed, ask the card owner, or contact us at [email protected] and we will help.

4. Cookies and analytics

We do not use advertising cookies and we do not run third-party ad trackers on cards. Our signup page keeps ad tags in your browser's session storage until you finish signing up, and it is cleared when you close the tab. If we add an analytics tool later, we will update this policy first.

5. How we use your info

• To create, show, and host your card, QR code, and contact file
• To show you your views, scans, and leads
• To deliver leads that visitors send you
• To answer your questions and give support
• To understand which ads and pages bring people in
• To keep the service safe and stop spam and abuse
• To send you business growth tips, tools and special offers from Eurekion by email, which you agree to when you claim your card. You can unsubscribe anytime.

6. Email and texts

We email you. We do not send marketing texts.

Marketing emails are part of the gift. Your Eurekion Digital Business Card is complimentary. When you claim it, you tick a box agreeing to get business growth tips, tools and special offers from Eurekion by email. Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can also email [email protected] to stop them. We honor unsubscribes within 10 business days, usually right away. If you unsubscribe, your card keeps working. We may still send emails needed to run your card, such as a link to edit it.

The "Text message" share button on a card opens your own phone's texting app with your link filled in. We do not send that text, and we do not see it.

7. Who we share it with

We never sell your info. We do not share it for other companies' advertising.

• Everyone who opens your card: your card is a public web page. Anyone with the link or QR code can see what you put on it. Only add info you are happy to share.
• Service providers: companies that help us run EURE Tap, such as Cloudflare for hosting, storage, and security. They may only use your info to provide their service to us.
• Legal reasons: if the law requires it, or to protect people or the service from harm or fraud.
• Business change: if Eurekion is merged or sold, your info may move to the new owner under this policy.

8. How long we keep it, and deleting your card

We keep your card and leads while your card exists. You can delete your card in one click from your private edit page. That removes your card, photo, counts, and leads from the live service. Copies in backups are removed over time as backups roll off. We may keep a small record when the law requires it or to stop abuse.

9. Security

Cards and leads are stored with our hosting provider and sent over secure connections (HTTPS). Your card is edited with a private link, so keep that link to yourself. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your info and will tell you if a problem affects you, as the law requires.

10. Children

EURE Tap is for business use. It is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect info from them. If you think a child has given us info, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.

11. Your US state privacy rights

Depending on where you live, including California under the CCPA, you may have the right to:

• Know what personal info we have about you and how we use it
• Get a copy of it
• Correct it
• Delete it
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your info. We do not sell or share it for ads, so there is nothing to opt out of.
• Not be treated differently for using these rights

To make a request, email [email protected]. We may ask you to confirm it is really you. You can also have an authorized agent ask for you.

12. Links to other sites

Cards link to other websites and social profiles. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

13. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. If the change is important, we will also let you know by email or on the site.
